Health Update

So I went to the Health Center today to get tested for strep. Luckily the tests came back negative, but my doctor says that I could develop strep in the coming days. Hopefully it won't get there, because strep throat sucks big time.

Resident Advisor position

I must admit that I have one of the most interesting jobs in the world, a resident advisor to a freshmen dorm. Not a day goes by where something exciting happens. Between girls crying and getting death threats the RA position has it all! Now I can't go into details thanks to a federal law which prohibits me to do so, but I must say that duty walks brings out the best of humanity. Wow!!!!

Sick

I've been sick for the past couple of days. Damn you dorm born illness.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is only weeks away, and for the first time in my life I feel like I should find a date for the day. It feels weird that for the first time ever I feel lonely. Honestly I don't know what's wrong with me!!!

Senator Durbin

So I was flipping through the channels on television, and I was able to catch a little floor debate over Judge Alito's confirmation. I saw the end of Kennedy's speech which sounded reasonable for opposing Alito, but then came Senator Durbin's turn. Durbin stated one of the reasons why he opposes Alito is that Judge Alito is a fan of Bruce Springsteen's music, but Alito doesn't understand the hardships that the people in Springsteen's songs go through in life. That pretty much confused me.

Food Network

So why did the Food Network decide to yank the Iron Chef for Good Eats? Come on!!!! Iron Chef clearly is the better show.

DC Trip

In a couple of weeks I will be going to our nation's capital for a conference. I'll end up skipping most of the event to look at law schools like Georgetown, and hopefully get inside the Supreme Court building. Since I will be going in mid-February there is a good possibility that a new Justice will be in the court.

Law School Applications

For those who wish to go to law school my advice is to start now. The process is so long and stressful I'm seriously loosing hair over this. I just want to know if I got in somewhere or not, but I won't find that out for at least another month

I want to welcome everyone to my first ever post on my first ever blog under this title. Although I am very busy at the moment I will be given the opprotunity to write more indepth later on. Just stay tune to my rants and raves about society.
